Adding New Chapters to an Old Story
Please take a few minutes to complete this year’s Time and Talent. Place a check mark in each box indicating an interest to serve in this area. After completing, simply click submit.
Once the forms are received, a report will be compiled and the information shared with the various committees. A committee member will be in touch to talk with you and see which area of ministry you desire to serve.
Deacons coordinate many opportunities to serve the congregation/church family with service, witness, and compassion. Serve with our Stephen Ministry, Visitation, Flower Delivery, Funeral/Memorial Service Receptions, Card Ministry, Meal Preparation and Delivery, Minor Home Repair, Transportation, and Caregiver Respite.
Serve in the life of our church by providing the opportunity for fellowship and promoting the growth of our church body. Opportunities to serve include Wednesdays Together, the annual church picnic, and Easter and Christmas breakfasts, as well as other special church events.
Serve the educational growth of our church. Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, coaching youth basketball, teaching, planning, and participating in adult, youth, and children’s activities, and working with babies are just a few of the ways you can be involved.
Serve the congregation and new members by providing a friendly face on Sunday morning greeting attendees as they enter the sanctuary and shepherding new members.
Serve the mission and outreach of the church by going on mission trips, helping with the ACTS Birthday and Christmas stores, and many other ways.
Serve the church facility by making minor repairs and providing needed maintenance to the building.
Serve the congregation by sharing the gift of music, ushering, being a lay reader, or being involved with special worship services. Work behind the scenes to enhance the worship space, decorate for Christmas, maintain the pew racks, or help prepare communion.
Serve the church by assisting with various aspects of the day-to-day operations by counting the offering, providing audio/visual support, serving on an administrative committee, and helping in the office.
