Mother's Day Cards
Mother’s Day cards to honor special women will be available in the narthex after both worship services on April 22, April 29, and May 6. $10 per card is suggested. They are also available in the church office during the week. The cards feature a variety of artwork by Ray Kent. Proceeds will go to the 2018 Presbyterian Women Birthday Offering, which supports the following projects this year: Cottage Village, a low income housing community in Oregon, Village of Grace Center for Physical and Spiritual Health in Honduras, and The Dwelling Place, a women’s shelter in Minnesota.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Sandy Evans, Maxine Eberhard
Please join us the third Tuesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., in the PW Productions Room (#27). We’ll be happy to teach you how! Join us in sharing ideas, tips, fellowship, and prayer! Newcomers are always welcome! You can also be a part of this ministry through your handwork at home (preferred size for our prayer shawls is a minimum of 30” by 60”). Please call us to get details about yarn, etc.
Be sure to let the church office know if you have a new baby or grandbaby in your family! We have baby items, and we’d like to share with your new family member. Please let us know of someone who might benefit from the comfort of a prayer shawl. The recipients do NOT have to be members of our church. Call Robbie Knox at 648-5229 or Catherine Vandegrift at 642-4788 to suggest a prayer shawl recipient or with your questions.
