Here at First Presbyterian Church, we have lots of great opportunities for kids. Our children's program is for kids age 3K - 5th grade. This includes JAM (Jesus and Me), Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and more.
This Summer we are going to re-imagine our summer Vacation Bible School. We are partnering with Camp Fellowship to provide our church families with Camp in a Box. Each box will include Bible study guides, nature activities, music and book resources, table talk cards, crafts supplies, and limited-edition camp swag. These materials can be completed at your leisure. The fun will be in your hands! We are hoping to have the boxes delivered by mid-July to families with rising 4K-6th grade children. This is an exciting opportunity for our church families to experience being at camp but in their own backyards.
JAM (Jesus and Me) typically meets on Sundays from 4:00 - 5:30 PM. The children will have the opportunity to do mission work for our community, learn from an amazing curriculum called Living Inside Out: Where Kids Dare to Live Their Faith 24/7, and go on fun outings for fellowship with friends.
Join us for fellowship at 9:45 and Sunday School beginning at 10:00 AM on Sundays.
This class uses the Dwell curriculum “Frolic.” These are fun lessons that will help guide little ones in the development of their faith.
They are using the Dwell curriculum “Imagine," which provides colorful story symbols, creative visual timelines, memory verses, and wonderfully illustrated take home pieces that provide support to families.
They are using the Dwell curriculum “Wonder.” The lessons invite kids to find their place in God’s story, living into and out of it for the rest of their lives.
They are using re:form – Ancestors: New Testament, to discover the similarities between themselves and the many unlikely people selected by God to do extraordinary things.
