We offer several different opportunities for adult education, including traditional Sunday School, Covenant Groups, and short-term courses. Sunday School meets for fellowship and coffee at 9:45 AM in the Adult Wing Hallway and Sunday School at 10:00 AM.
Sunday School is currently on hiatus due to COVID-19.
This class studies the Bible by concentrating on specific books. Their goal is to better understand the meaning of scripture as it was written and how it applies to us today. They use a variety of resource materials and endeavor to conduct the class as a “small group” caring for each other in addition to studying together.
Teaching Team: Phyllis Britt, Tom Britt, Russell Smith, Joe Ziegler
We are using a 6-week DVD Bible study called The Prayers of Jesus. This study “explores the prayers of Jesus, revealing new insights into prayer, the character of God, and our relationship with Him.” This class sponsors a child through World Vision and supports the Honduras Agape Foundation.
Teaching Team: Bruce Eberhard, Sandy Evans, Dave Muhlbaier
This class is named for Ernestine B. Law (2/4/1920 - 10/23/1999).
The Law Class studies the International Sunday School curriculum, which is Biblical and based on the lectionary. The class makes contributions each week to support several missionaries as well as some local mission causes. All are invited to join.

Pastor Terry Wimberley offers several fascinating and educational online courses. Click here to check them out.
Covenant Groups are small groups with 6-12 participants meeting on a regular basis for a time of fellowship and in-depth Bible study. The purpose is to provide a healthy, authentic environment where people can grow spiritually and relationally- both in our relationship with God and with our fellow believers.
We are planning to begin new Covenant Small Groups in Fall 2020. Now is a good time to begin thinking if you are interested in making a commitment to an in-depth study. To get you in touch with current facilitators and participants who can give you insight to their experience, contact Cheryl Kelley. Also learn more at CovenantBibleStudy.com. Later this summer, we will host brief informational meetings to learn more about this program.
Join us on the 3rd Thursday of every month (September - May) at 9:00 AM in the Conference Room for Bible study and fellowship. You are welcome to attend one, some, or all of these sessions.
We are discussing the DVD study by Karen Ehman called Let It Go: How to Stop Running the Show and Start Walking in Faith.
“This humorous, thought-provoking study gives women practical, biblically based steps for letting go of the need to control the people and situations around them, and instead, trust that God has their best interests in mind and has ultimate control.”
